Upper Austria has a lot to offer: great nature, smaller mountains and a number of beautiful lakes. Seeschloss Ort at the Traunsee is a very famous place for weddings in Upper Austria. Imagine a castle on a small island in the lake, roughly larger than the castle itself. A long wooden bridge is the only connection to the shore. An extraordinary location for everyones wedding. Besides the possibility to have the civil wedding right at the castle you might be lucky to also have your church ceremony at the castles chapel. Consider that the chapel is rather small, so it will work best for smaller wedding parties.

They also had the great idea to take a boat ride from the castle to the Schlosshotel Freistitz Roith. If you´d love to have an extraordinary view at the champaign reception and the dinner, we can definitely recommend this hotel. It is located directly at the lake and they have a beautiful garden which is ideal for the champaign reception. Just a view meters away they built a wintergarden with panorama windows and an amazing lake view.
