Every shoot has to be planned well: which images need to be captured, which products, outfits or accessories are needed, where does the shoot take place, is a make-up artist and hair stylist necessary? In the field of product photography not everything can be captured with one single shot. Products need to be styled (e.g. food styling), reflections need to be considered and perfect lighting is necessary to put your product in perspective. In many cases one stylish product shot is made out of multiple photos - that requires imagination, planning and overview skills to bring all the amenities of your product into one final image.
In post production we optimize colors, white balance, brightness, contrast and remove unsightly distractions and dust. Of course we are aware of things like dust, scratches and fingerprints during the shoot to take care of these imperfections before the photo is taken, so additional editing time can be reduced to a minimum. If necessary we can remove the background and create a clipping mask, so you have a clean photo of your product for your online store.
Some objects just cannot be photographed the way the human eye perceives them or the art director wants them to be displayed. For example splashes of coke or juice don't have the color of the beverage, a transparent glass in front of a textured wall can hardly be seen and jumping clothing without a person in it is also difficult to create without compositing. We help our clients to plan and create complex scenes in order to transport the message that is desired. We create the images as well as the composition until all details are perfect.
