Nominated for the World Photographic Cup 2015

A couple of months ago we were asked if we want to be part of the Austrian national team for the World Photographic Cup 2015 competition. The WPC is an olympic like photographic competition were a selected national photographer team competes against all other nations in the world. It is organized by the FEP - Federation of European Professional Photographers and the PPA - Professional Photographers of America and supported by the UAPP - United Asian Professional Photographers and the AIPP - Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.

It is a pretty tough selection process - each nation first selects their best photographers for the genres Landscape/Wildlife, Illustrative, Reportage, Wedding, Portrait and Commerial. Next all photographers are asked to submit their best images for each genre they want to participate. A jury plus every participating photographer will then nominate the top three photographers of each genre who shall represent the nation according to his/hers opinion. The best three photographers of each genre then form the national team which will compete in the World Photographic Cup.

We are so happy to announce that we have been nominated for the Austrian national team with two of our wedding images and we will compete in the genres Wedding and Reportage together with the best photographers in the world. Funny fact - one of the nominated images is from Nina and one from Phil - can you guess which one is which?
