A dream in blue tones, that's how I would describe Anke & Klaus' beautiful wedding at Schloss Reinach in Freiburg, Germany. We are in love with this color when it comes to a wedding, sending ahead there will be lots of gorgeous blue details. Maybe you remember the story how Anke and Klaus met us? We photographed their engagement session in Zurich last year and mentioned some details within this blog post.

Several years ago we were part of their friends' wedding in Italy, Anke and Klaus liked our work and contacted us quite some month ago regarding their very own wedding. We were blown away that they sent us several dates when their wedding venue would be available, accompanied by the information that they would choose their wedding date accordingly to our availability. That's something we did not expect at all, really special and an honor. Both are from Germany, but they first met in Switzerland as they chose this country as their adopted home. Since we met them last year in September in Switzerland some things have changed - in the meanwhile they are new parents, their sweet little son is three month old. So last weekend not just a wedding took place, also their son's baptism could be celebrated.

We know how difficult it can be to organize a wedding, having a baby, getting used to all the new routines and changes, celebrating a wedding with a little one, etc. - but we have to say that Anke and Klaus did such a great job. They stayed really calm, kept their son grounded and so they could enjoy this beautiful day together without hiccups. Thank you so much for inviting us to be part of your family celebrations in Freiburg, it was a pleasure to meet your families and friends. It was also wonderful to meet our former bridal couple Evi and Martin again and at this point we would also like to say thanks to them, for their recommendation and for letting us know that they still cherish their wedding photos and wedding album, that's fantastic.
