We had wonderful four days in Italy, not just as photographers, we also made new friends. Nadja and Albino invited us to document their multi-day wedding in Spoleto, Umbria, Italy. They chose the Villa Pianciani as their wedding venue, such a wonderful and peaceful place to bring their Italian and Autrian families together. Everything took place at the Villa: getting ready, couple shoot, ceremony, cocktail hour and also their open air dinner in the middle of the park. Bride and Groom incorporated the Tuscan flair with lavender in lots of different variations: a lavender bouquet, bracelets for the girls, boutonnieres for the boys, flower arrangements in the church and at their dinner table, lavender flavored ice cream, lavender oil as wedding favors and the guests had the chance to fill a bag with lavender to take away - they called it Il profumo del nostro amore. What a pity, we forgot to fill such a bag for us.

Bride and groom enjoyed their wedding days with their loved ones to the full. All the guests - and also we as vendors - stayed at the Villa, it felt like one big family. The day before the wedding our bridal couple started their celebrations with a pre-wedding poolparty at the Villa Pianciani - you should not miss this blog post with party impressions as well as lots of photos of this gorgeous venue.

The wedding day itself started with the visit of a barber for the guys and the girls had the chance to get their nails done. A talented hair dresser from Spoleto came to the Villa and Der Visagist Michél Schiwon took great care of the ladies and made them look so glamouros. Nadja and Albino are so easy going and you can feel the love between them every single moment. It was so hard to choose the photos for this blog post: too many emotions, too many great moments, a wonderful first look, a couple rocking the portrait shoot and also a beautiful outdoor dinner table, so you have to live with the fact that this post shows some more photos as usual. The floral designer Sartoria Floreale did such a great job and you could feel the love she put into her work - she even brought antique desks to the venue to complete her vision. The team at the Villa was also obliging, it was a pleasure to work there.

Nadja and Albino, we thank you so much that you gave us the chance to photograph your intimate Italian wedding in Spoleto. That we could be part of your wedding celebrations is a huge gift and you really made us feel like family. We still cannot believe that we had the chance to relax at your pool the day after the wedding - thanks for making us feel so special!
